1. Drink More Water
Water is essential for our bodies. It keeps us hydrated, detoxes the body and can aid in weight loss.
Try bringing a gallon of water to work with you. Honestly, most days I fail to drink half but the great thing is even if you don’t drink the whole jug you still drink more than you usually would.
there is just something about having it on my desk as a reminder that makes me drink!

2. Eat a Healthy Lunch
Instead of eating out at some fast food place full of salty and fatty ingredients that will give you the “itis”. make your lunch at home and bring it to work.
Add veggies to a good source of protein and replace that can of soda with a cup of refreshing ice water. If your feeling fancy throw some cucumber or lemon in it for a crisp taste.
knowing exactly what you are putting in your body makes a meal more delicious.

3. Pack Snacks
If you work in an office like i do than you probably have to avoid the kitchen at all costs because your coworkers are always bringing in cookies and donuts. “Thanks Sharon but I’m trying to lose 10 lbs and all these sweets aren’t helpful.”
Stop eating empty calories! Pack your favorite vegetables or even some almonds to tame your hunger. If that sweet tooth is aching pack some frozen berries to soothe your lustful cravings.

When you have an office job majority of the time you are sitting. I suggest schedule time everyday to go out side and take a stroll. Grab a coworker and get moving!

5. Stand Up and Stretch
Sitting down for long periods of time isn’t good for you. According to health line it can lead to heart disease, weight gain, back pain, varicose veins, and other health issues.
Every 30 minutes stand up and stretch you legs. Maybe even invest in a standing desk that you can raise from time to time.

6. Take the Stairs
Stop waiting for the elevator and take the stairs! Think of it as the equivalent to using the stair stepper at the gym. Also instead of emailing or calling your coworkers for every little thing walk over to their desk and talk face to face to get more steps in.
According to inbodyusa’s website you can lose 1 lb a week just from walking 10,000 steps a day.

7. Stay Away from Toxic Coworkers
In addition to being physically healthy being mentally healthy is just as important. Don’t get caught up with that coworker with the bad energy bringing everyone down with their negativity.
Being around someone who is always negative and complaining can effect your mental health which can inhibit your physical health in time.

9. Disinfect your space
Hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes and my desk have a very close relationship. I keep a giant hand sanitizer on MY DESK FOR Personal use and wipe down
my desk weekly.
