Apply for internships and jobs now
Do not wait until after college to try to get an internship or job. Most places only want students for internships so get in before graduation! During the internship work your butt off and learn all you can to help boost your resume and potentially get hired with the company!
Get a high GPA
If you don’t plan on going to graduate school this may seem irrelevant. Honestly a bachelors has become the new high school diploma… everybody and they momma has one! Going to grad school can really help you secure a better paying job and better job period. To get into grad school you will need over a 3.0.

Also colleges have honors programs. If you maintain a good GPA you can potentially get scholarships !
Make friends
I have ofter heard the friends you make in college will be the friends you have for life! I honestly think this is true. Some of those people will see you at your very worst; trying to figure out who you are, broke, and stressed. Having a friend to go through this tough time will really be helpful.
Network
In addition to friends meet people in your major! Join clubs, go to conferences, ask your teacher about fairs and networking opportunities. Your network is your networth. Think about it! The people you are graduating with are from all over the country and will probably move out of the state to work and live at various companies. It would be great to be able to reach out to someone you met in college for help.
Reach out to people working in the industry that you want to be in
If there is a specific place you want to work go on linked in and find people that work at the company. See who you have in common and try to reach out. Ask them for advice or even to shadow them. As a student people love to help with these things so use it to your advantage.

Try new things
You will not know if you like something until you try it! Try foods, activities, and crazy stuff. (NOT DRUG)Take a random curricular activity like photography and see how it feels. Alot of people have switched majors after doing this!
Join clubs
Getting involved with groups are great. Outside of fraternities and sororities there are tons of clubs and groups right at your school that you do not have to commit to for life only your college life. This will again help you grow your network and friends.
Learn new skills
Take on new challenges outside of class. Learn about things that will help you after college.
Eliminate toxic people
Cut off people and bad habits that are keeping you from reaching your full potential! Getting rid of toxic things is a way to practice self love and care! If it’s not helping you ditch it!
Invest in you
You get what you give.Plant seeds that will blossom later in life! Work hard in college so you can retire early! Figure out how you can be come a boss not a worker!

Pin for later!
